Two Shows - July 2026
I still love painting birds, and this new pink robin painting is my painting of the month! It’s currently displayed at Spruce Cafe in Longmont. As usual, it’s painted by palette knife, and I had fun wrapping the branch around the edges of the canvas.
“Larger Than Life”
20×20 inches, acrylic on canvas
$660
Here’s another bird! I’ve painted this one before, and I sometimes paint things more than once, often in different sizes. This bird was irresistible to paint a second time!
“I’m Onto You”
16x20 inches, acrylic on canvas
$500 ($600 framed)
I was honored to paint dear Scarlet Begonia, a cat, for a friend. She got it as a birthday present for her brother. So sweet. I have a few other pet portraits in the queue, fun fun!
“Scarlet Begonia”
8x8 inches, acrylic on cradled wood

Shows!
I have a show hanging at the Armory in north Boulder! The tall Third Flatiron painting behind me is a new painting this month. I plan to be at the Armory for First Friday August 7, around 6-9pm. I invite you to stop by! (Address and details below.)
I also have a show at Spruce Cafe in Longmont! I have 12 paintings displayed here, plus some small prints.
I actually have three shows at the moment, though the Plein Air Festival exhibit is up only for another 10 days. Here are all the details.
Shout out to my husband Bart for helping me hang the shows at the Armory AND Spruce Cafe! He’s the best.
And I’m making lots of pickles! The two jars on the left have been fermenting for a few days so they are paler green. The ones on the right just started. Do you love or hate pickles?
