Peddle to Paint - June 2026

I had a great time participating in the Boulder Plein Air Festival in early June! Over the course of 5 days, I finished 8 paintings. And yes, I painted them all outside on location. I nicknamed the endeavor “Peddle to Paint” because I used my eBike for the week. My painting below, “The Third is a Charm,” is my Painting of the Month because it already sold at the Plein Air exhibit!

A passerby stopped to chat while I was painting it and kindly sent me this photo. As usual, I found a shady place to paint.

At the Plein Air Festival reception, I was surprised to learn that one my paintings won an Honorable Mention! It’s the one on the left, and it’s a view of Old Main at CU.

My favorite part of the festival was meeting the other artists! I encourage you to check it out the exhibit!

I didn’t choose this painting as one of my final 5 for the Plein Air Festival, but I do like it.

Upcoming show in Longmont

In July and August, I will have several paintings displayed at Spruce Cafe in Longmont, 600 S. Airport Road. I’m hanging the show on June 30, so I am not yet sure what paintings I will choose, but I estimate I’ll have at least 10 paintings there.

Thanks for reading. Questions and comments welcome, feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Lisa
